Community creator tutorials describe drag racing as a structured way to earn coins. The bracket and payout examples below come from the transcripts supplied for this site, not from our own gameplay test; rules may change by class or update.

The format

  • A drag event is a five-race bracket: the marker moves 1/16 → 1/8 → 1/4 → 1/2 → final as you win.
  • 1st place: win all five races. Community tutorials record a ~1,000 coin reward in the unlimited class.
  • 2nd place: win four races, then lose the final.
  • 3rd place: win three races, lose the fourth, then win the fifth (the third-place decider).
  • Classes are performance-banded (unlimited, S9, S10, etc.) — too-fast cars can't enter lower bands.

The golden rule: don't jump the start

The lights run red → yellow → green. Wait for green. Accelerating during yellow is a false start — do it twice and the race is an automatic loss. Community tutorials deliberately false-start twice when they want to lose (e.g., securing 2nd place).

Before you race

  1. Warm your tires with a burnout — better launch grip.
  2. Test-drive your tune and check your car's sprint time; drag tuning is covered in gearbox settings (short 1st/2nd gears for drag).
  3. Stay consistent — switching setups mid-bracket usually hurts more than it helps.

Racing for 2nd or 3rd on purpose

Because 2nd and 3rd also pay coins, some players farm placements: win the required early rounds, then lose deliberately (double false start) in the race that would eliminate them — and for 3rd, win the final decider. It pays less than 1st but is fast and low-pressure.
