Players search "how to add images in CPM 2" for two different things — custom designs on cars and photo mode screenshots. This page covers designs; for photography see the photo mode guide.

The livery / design editor

CPM 2 officially includes a Car Livery mode with dynamic vinyls, paint finishes (matte, metallic, chrome), and decal support. To customize a car:

  1. Enter the garage and select your car.
  2. Open the livery/design editor.
  3. Add and position vinyls/decals, choose paint finishes, and preview in 3D.
  4. Save the design to the car.

Note that designs are tied to a specific car body — a design made for one model won't fit another, and old designs can break after game updates.

Sharing designs: livery codes

Finished designs can be shared as livery codes — text strings that other players paste into their own editor. Appearance only: a livery code never unlocks cars, currency, or performance. Full details, including how to import a code safely, are on the Livery Codes page.

Tips

  • Screenshot your design in photo mode before updating the game — if an update breaks it, you have a reference to rebuild.
  • The official Discord is the main place players share and request livery codes.
